Brenda started her radio broadcasting career at the American School of Broadcasting in Arlington, TX. During that time she interned at the award winning radio news station WBAP where she learned news from the best. Brenda then became the NEWS GIRL for the syndicated morning radio network LEX AND TERRY and at the same time did news, weather, and traffic for Jacksonville Florida's ROCK 105.After a few years with the show she moved to a major market, DALLAS TEXAS where she was the Morning Buzz Girl for CBS' JACK FM 2 years later Brenda wanted to try being a DJ rather than just a news girl. She then went on to work as a fill in DJ at the Texas Music Station THE RANCH in Fort Worth Texas. Brenda also worked with Metro Networks in Dallas/Fort Worth and delivered news/weather/and traffic to various stations in the Metroplex. Brenda did a one year stint at WZZR in West Palm Beach where she created The Dirt, a popular web blog for the station. Brenda spent a few years falling in love with her TEXAS AUDIENCE as the Host for the KUSJ US 105 Morning Show for 3 years in Killeen / Texas.. YEE HAW!! Then her true calling finally came when she was blessed with a gig at the National Radio Network THE POSITIVE ALTERNATIVE AIR 1 Radio. She was your MID Day Host with all the hits of Christian Rock! Now you can hear her on Christian Radio 6am-10am on "The Good Morning Show" KDCR 88.5 and on Country Radio on "Dallas and Brenda in the Morning" on 93.1 Coast Country.
Brenda started her Tv career in NYC in commercials including Heineken and Mennen. She has been seen in a variety of TV shows for networks including MTV, VH1, ABC, UPN, FOX, and The CW. Brenda also spent some time doing movies including Indi FIlms "Los Jodedores" which was a hit in Domincan Republic, and also "The Road To Erebus" where she starred as a women with multi-personalities. "Erebus" was one of the only Films picked up at the IFFM at the Angelica Theater in NYC, and soon ran on SHOWTIME.
Brenda's TV BROADCASTING jobs coincides with her radio career. It all started in Jacksonville Florida while she was on the syndicated talk show "Lex and Terry", Brenda became the HOST of the hit show "GIMME THE MIC JACKSONVILLE". Brenda also filled in as The Entertainment Reporter for WJXT Channel 4 NEWS. When Brenda moved to Dallas to contuniue her radio career at JACK FM, UPN asked Brenda to be the Backstage Reporter for "GIMME THE MIC DALLAS" where she also co-produced segments. Brenda then became the Texas Correspondent for "American Latino TV" a nationally syndicated TV Show. She also was a Traffic Reporter for FOX 4 NEWS in Dallas. Brenda's BIG BREAK for TV BROADCASTING came when she was hired as the MONSTER TRUCK PIT REPORTER for SPEED TV and VERSUS Network. Brenda became their Pit Reporter for The "Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Track Racing" series.
